Salons, barbers, massage and spa
Every service, by the person who did it.
A point of sale for salons, barbers, massage and spa. Services with their own price and add-ons. Tips that reach the right hands. Retail sold at the chair.
Coming soon. Amyn is in development.
A cut is an item. So is a color.
Set up each service like any item: a name, a price, and variants such as short or long hair. A men’s cut. A beard trim. A 60-minute massage. Add the add-ons you charge for, such as a hot-towel finish. A planned field adds the length of the service and who may perform it. A color then goes only to a colorist.
- Services with their own price, variants and add-ons
- Length and “who can do this” on each service (planned)
- Names in English and Arabic; Urdu and Bengali names planned
Appointments and deposits, planned.
A booking calendar is on our list, not on the shelf. The plan: book a client against a service, a person and a time. Take a deposit when they book, and apply it to the ticket when they sit down. Until it ships, keep the calendar you already use.
Tips reach the person who earned them.
Every payment records the employee who took it, and the tip with it. When the person who did the service also takes the payment, the tip is stored against them, not the register. That part is built. The dashboard report that totals tips by person is planned. So are tip-outs between staff.
Commissions, planned.
If your chairs pay on commission, one share for services and another for retail, Amyn already records who rang up each sale. A commission editor, where you set the shares and see each person’s total for the pay period, is planned.
Sell the product, not just the service.
The pomade. The shampoo. The oil you just used. Add it to the same ticket as the cut, by tapping the tile or scanning the barcode. Stock counts down. One ticket, one payment, one receipt.
Client records, only with a yes.
Some clients want you to remember their color formula. Some want nothing kept at all. Amyn creates a client record only when the client agrees. Marketing texts or emails need a separate opt-in. Notes about preferences are planned the same way, consent first. A client can ask you to delete their record. The design allows for it.
What is built, and what is planned.
This is where the salon features stand today. Built means the records and rules behind a feature exist in our backend; the screens are still being made. Planned means it is on our list, not started.
