Payments and rates
One rate. Every fee named.
What Amyn will charge for card payments, and the fees it never will. One simple card rate, published before launch. No monthly software fee. Every deduction from a payout will be named, with its rate and the sales behind it.
Coming soon. Amyn is in development.
One simple card rate.
We have not published a number yet. We will publish one only when we can stand behind it, and we will do that before launch.
When it is here, you will find it on this page in plain figures: the percentage and any per-payment fee. One rate, with no tiers to qualify for and no plan to upgrade to.
The in-person rate will be published before launch. So will the rate for online or keyed-in payments (card details typed in by hand).
Final pricing will be completed before launch. Read our disclaimers.
Fees we will never charge.
Three fees are off the table for good.
- A monthly software fee. No subscription to pay each month.
- Statement fees. A statement is the record of your own sales. You will never pay to see it.
- PCI fees. PCI is the card industry’s security standard. We will never bill you a charge in its name.
This list is short on purpose. A fee joins it only once we have decided, for good, never to charge it. Processing and any optional costs will be published clearly before launch.
Our planned direction. Amyn is in development.
How payouts will work.
A payout is the money sent to your bank after card sales. Here is the plan, in principle. The details will be published with the rate, before launch.
- To your bank, on a schedule we publish. How often card sales reach your bank depends on the payment processor we choose. We publish the schedule with the rate, before launch.
- Every deduction named. A payout shows the sales behind it, then each deduction by name with its rate. Open a deduction and you see the sales it came from.
- Held money, explained. Our payment processor (the company that moves card payments between banks) may hold funds in some cases. When that happens, we tell you why, how much and when. Your dashboard shows it as Held, with those three answers beside it.
What the usual POS charges.
For context, here is what the usual POS charges today. The figures come from their public pricing pages, help centers and filings, checked in October 2026. We do not name the companies. They change prices without notice, so confirm with them before you decide.
| What | The usual POS, as of October 2026 | Amyn |
|---|---|---|
| In-person card rate | 2.3–2.6% + 10–15¢ per payment | One simple rate, published before launch |
| Online or keyed-in rate | 2.9–3.5%, some with a 10–15¢ fee per payment | Published before launch |
| Monthly software fee | $0 to $354 a month | $0 |
| Instant payout (optional, to get your money sooner) | 1.75% of each payout | Not yet decided; published before launch |
The Amyn column is our planned direction.
To be fair to those systems:
- On one popular system, the $0 software plan carries its highest card rate. The lower rates sit on the paid plans.
- The top of the software range is a bundle priced over 36 months.
- Instant payout is a choice, not a requirement. Standard payouts do not carry that fee.
