Honest pricing

Honest pricing.

Point-of-sale pricing is usually spread across contracts, add-ons and fine print. Here is the usual deal next to ours, in plain words.

Amyn is in development. Our card rate is one simple rate, published before launch.

The usual POS, next to Amyn.

The figures on the left come from the public pricing pages of popular systems, checked in October 2026. We do not name them, and they change prices without notice.

WhatThe usual POSAmyn
ContractA two- or three-year term is common. On one popular system it renews on its own; another has no contract. Leave a long term early and you pay a fee; on one popular system that is the rest of the term’s software fees.Month to month, planned. No long contract.
HardwareBought outright, or on a monthly subscription for the full term that cannot be cancelled. On one popular system the hardware works only with that provider’s card processing.Yours to buy. No hardware subscription or lease.
Software$0 to $354 a month, often per location, with more each month for kitchen screens and kiosks. No monthly software fee.
Instant payouts1.75% of each payout on popular systems.Decided when our processor is chosen, then published.
Your dataTheir privacy notices say it may be “sold or shared” for targeted ads, as US state laws define those terms. We don’t sell your data. No ad trackers, no analytics scripts from other companies, no training AI on your data.

Two things to know first.

Our full terms are not published yet. They will be, before launch, with the payment processor’s terms beside them.

We have not chosen a payment processor. When we do, its terms bind you alongside ours. It may hold funds, or keep a reserve back from your payouts, under its own rules. We will say so plainly on this site, not in a footnote.

One station, two ways to pay.

A real example from one popular system, prices as of October 2026.

Its counter station on a 36-month bundle costs $180 a month, hardware and software together. That is $6,480 over the term.

Buy the same station outright for $1,899, then pay only the software plan at $84.95 a month. Over 36 months that is $3,058, so $4,957 in all.

The difference is about $1,500 over three years.

To be fair: the bundle includes damage and theft cover. If that cover matters to you, price it separately before you compare.

With Amyn, you buy the hardware once. There is no monthly hardware fee, rental or lease. Hardware prices, like our card rate, will be published before launch.

What you would keep.

A small calculator. Every assumption is on the page, and you can change each one.

$1,764is about what you would keep over 36 months with the example figures above: your software fee plus your hardware subscription, times the months. Turn on JavaScript to change the figures.

Inputs

  • Monthly software fee you pay today. Default: $49. Plans on popular systems run from $0 to $354 a month, often per location.
  • Hardware subscription per month. Default: $0. Enter $0 if you bought your hardware outright. If your hardware comes in a bundle with software, put the bundle here and $0 in the software fee.
  • Months. Default: 36. Long contracts on popular systems run 24 or 36 months.

Output

  • “You would keep about $1,764 over 36 months.” The sum is your software fee plus your hardware subscription, times the months.

Assumptions, shown beside the result

  • Amyn will charge no monthly software fee and no hardware subscription or lease.
  • This counts monthly fees only. It leaves out the one-time price of Amyn hardware. It also leaves out card rates, ours and the one you pay today, because ours is not published yet.
  • The sums run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or to anyone else.

Fees we will never charge.

  • A monthly software fee.
  • Statement fees.
  • PCI fees. PCI is the card industry’s standard for handling card data safely. We will not bill you for it.

Our card rate: one simple rate, published before launch. Anything else we charge will be on this site before launch too.

Where these figures come from.
