Customer screen

Your brand on the customer screen.

Between sales, the screen that faces your customers shows your photos. The dish of the day. Your Eid special. Your Ramadan hours. You choose what shows, where, and when.

Amyn is in development. This page describes the customer screen as we are building it.

Between sales, your screen works for you.

A customer screen sits idle between sales. Amyn uses that time. When nobody is paying, the screen shows the photos you chose. When a customer is paying, the sale comes first.

A few things a shop might show:

  • Today’s special, with its price
  • Ramadan hours, shown only during Ramadan
  • A loyalty card or an offer with an end date
  • The people behind the counter

Portrait photos, cropped in your browser.

The customer screen is upright, like a phone. Your photos should be too.

  • Portrait, 9:16
  • 1080 by 1920 pixels recommended, at least 720 by 1280
  • JPEG, PNG or WebP
  • Up to 5 MB each

A landscape photo still works. You crop it in your browser, inside a preview shaped like the screen. What you see in the preview is what your customers see on the counter.

Put them in order. Give each its time.

Your photos play in a loop. Move them up or down to set the order. Set how many seconds each one shows. A price needs a few seconds. A menu needs longer.

The right photos at the right location.

Each location has its own set. A photo can show at one location, at some, or at all of them. Times follow each location’s own clock, so a shop in Dallas and a shop in New York each run on local hours.

Dates and hours, including Ramadan.

Give a photo a start date and an end date, and it comes and goes on its own. Choose the hours it shows. Set the Ramadan hours for a location, and the photos you mark for Ramadan follow those hours.

Works when the internet doesn’t.

Each register keeps its own copy of your photos. If your connection drops, the screen keeps showing them. When you publish a new set, each register downloads it. The dashboard shows which registers have the latest set.

Your photos stay yours.

Upload only photos you own or have permission to use: your food, your shop, your products, your team. We don’t sell your data. No ad trackers, no analytics scripts from other companies, no training AI on your data. Uploads go to our own backend, which the privacy notice names.

The rules are short:

  • You must own the rights to what you upload, or have permission from whoever does.
  • Nothing offensive. Nothing unlawful. Nothing misleading.
  • Photos of people only when they agreed to appear.

Questions, answered.

Does the customer screen cost extra?

Our plan is no monthly software fee for Amyn. The customer screen tools are part of the dashboard. Any costs will be published before launch.

My photos are landscape. Can I still use them?

Yes. The crop tool lets you choose the part that fits the upright screen. Zoom in on the plate, not the tablecloth.

What happens when the internet drops?

Each register keeps a copy of your photos, so the screen keeps showing them. New photos arrive once the connection is back.

Who can change the photos?

The people you give that permission to. You set roles and permissions in the dashboard.
